Determining
True Web Development Costs
or
When is a Bargain not a Bargain?
by Ted Bailey, CEO of the Imagination Factory
t has been
estimated that 72% or 237 million (as of 2007) people now surf
the internet. Over 100 million people in the U.S. surfed the web at least 11 times in
the last 7 days. With that large a target audience, more and more businesses are
finding it increasingly important to have a web presence. Indications are that while
63% of small to medium businesses in the U.S. are 'connected' to the internet
(compared to only 15% back in 1995 when we first began designing websites), only
44% (as of 2008), have a web site or presence and half spend less than
10% of their marketing budget online.
