The Imagination Factory
SCHEDULE 4
PROJECT TIMING:
Successful design of corporate Identities and web sites are
not generic, but rather reflect the CLIENT's corporate culture, environment,
attitudes, type of business, etc. As such, much of the critical initial information
comes from the CLIENT. If the CLIENT cannot provide, then other research methods,
such as surveys (of CLIENT and customers) may be employed to obtain sufficient
information to develop a direction.
The two most prevalent questions that many professionals must
answer is "How Much?" and "How Long?". In that for professional services, the
"how long" often dictates the "how much", we like to provide the following guide.
This is, of course, a flexible guide... Less Analysis and/or Design often means
longer Development and/or Production.
| Analysis |
40%
(Information research, acquisition, and analysis) |
| Design |
20%
(Synthesis of information into graphic or programming concepts) |
| Development |
25%
(Programming, Testing, Refinement of concept) |
| Production |
15%
(Production and Delivery in final media) |
| Total |
100% |
The Project timing, as discussed below, assumes:
1. CLIENT has or shall obtain necessary materials for project
- Photos, maps, topical materials (in printed or electronic
form)
2. PROVIDER may create such materials if unavailable
- Photoshoots, illustrations, logos, copy etc. (may incur additional fees unless otherwise specified as included in quote)
