The Imagination Factory
Press Release - For Immediate Release

New WHITECAPS website

www.what-if.com -- Grand Rapids, MI USA (December 15, 2002) -- The Imagination Factory today completed the re-design of client website www.whitecaps-baseball.com. The site for the local minor league baseball club West Michigan Whitecaps is the fourth annual re-design for the Whitecaps.

During this past year, the whitecaps received nearly 100,000 unique visitors to their website. According to the traffic statistics the Imagination Factory provides, each of these visitors visited an average of 2.5 times and went to roughly 3.5 pages during each visit. This means that over 700,000 pages of information was served to their audience.

"We only have a couple months between the end of the season and marketing push for the next," says Lori Ashcroft - public relations for the West Michigan Whitecaps, "and some of the content information really is not known (like play schedules, etc.) until following the winter league meetings. Each year there is something new to address, like our past change in parent club affiliation or our logo changes this year. But the site is integral to our marketing to and communications with our audience."

"There is a timing issue," explains Bailey - CEO of the Imagination Factory, "when dealing with some client information to which we must be sensitive. We want to provide a new designs that will be fresh and meaningful for the fans and that will work with the changes occurring within the organization of which the fans may not be aware. Also we must provide a design that is flexible enough to accommodate whatever and however the content may change at the last minute."

"We've always been very pleased with everything that the Imagination Factory has done for us over our ten (10) year partnership. We consider the Imagination Factory part of our family."
