Play Child, Play
www.what-if.com -- Grand Rapids, MI USA (June 2, 2008) -- Online toy store, PlayChild.com, today re-opens with their new and improved e-store - www.playchild.com.
"When we acquired Playchild.com, it came with an existing online store hosted at a large well-known national internet service." said Jeremy Goodemoot, Owner of Daniel's Den aka Playchild.com, "Unfortunately, the store technology was old and difficult to enhance or even get to do what we wanted it to do for our customers. Many of our toys are 'made in the USA' and have become very popular. However, the site kept getting slower and harder to access where it was. We went to the Imagination Factory and they were able to put us into a completely new and easily managed e-store system. They were able to extract not only the product info, but also all the customer information and sales history, so neither we or our customers were inconvenienced. Our new e-store is much faster and has a lot more features that benefit us as owners and many that will excite our customers."
"We were able to put up Playchild's new e-store on our servers and run them in parallel with the old e-store." said Ted Bailey, CEO for Imagination Factory, "This allowed us to demonstrate the transparency and speed increases that Playchild would realize after the conversion. In the cyberworld, your competitor is only a mouse-click away, not just down the street, so its important to make the purchase process go as quickly and smoothly as possible."
