Meyer Music is the largest school music service organization in West Michigan, specializing in band and orchestra instruments, supplies, early music education, and printed music for all levels of learning. As the business grew, Meyer had made several improvements to the site we originally designed back in 2005. When it came time for a redesign, the IFI team got to work.
When the new mobile-responsive site launched, it included an expansion of the online portal where users could rent musical instruments. With the new system, people could also easily access their accounts and make their instrument rent payments online. This required some fancy footwork from the IFI team, as we had to make different computers talk to each other securely, and create a seamless experience for users on multiple operating systems, applications, and devices.
