Site ReVamp: Engineered HVAC

January 28th, 2013 by Ted Bailey

IFIblog_EHCOur client, Engineered HVAC, relocated its physical operations, re-aligned its vendor relationships, and restructured a bit of its business… all calling for a revamp of its web presence.

So we went through the site and made the necessary changes in order to support these changes and make them more ‘carrier-centric’.

Site Launch: West Michigan Glass Block

December 21st, 2012 by Ted Bailey

IFIblog_wmgb2West Michigan Glass Block (WMGB) is so much more than just a glass block supplier. Unfortunately, their old website didn’t really give that impresssion. In addition to glass blocks, by offering basement egress systems, replacement entry and storm doors and windows, blown-in insulation, repointing and foundation repair, siding and gutters and outdoor decks, WMGB is really your Home Improvement Station.

The Imagination Factory was selected to help WMGB re-focus their overall cyber story, enhance their ecommerce functions (while making it easier for them to manage), and provide them a vehicle to showcase their services and quality projects – all in a mobile compliant structure.

Site Launch: Marketing Tools

December 14th, 2012 by Ted Bailey

IFIblog_MTIPromotional Items Marketing Firm, Marketing Tools Inc. (MTI), was looking for a way to separate themselves from pack of traditional ad specialties firms out there. After some research, they selected the Imagination Factory as best to help them do that.

Not wanting to lose sight of the vast array of promotional items available through them, they did want to focus on an audience seeking expertise in award and incentive programs as well as branded promotions, executive gifts, awards and product launch campaigns.

So the concept of using a executive’s desk motif was chosen to visually reinforce the idea that MTI services are available to assist the busy executive, marketing directors and business owners in developing and fulfilling their programs.

Site Launch: Tuff Turf Molebusters

December 2nd, 2012 by Ted Bailey

Tuff Turf MolebustersJim’s business, Tuff Turf Molebusters, has continually grown because of the great service he and his staff provide, and, in part, due to the great design partners he chose :) Jim takes a lot of time to listen to his customers, understand their needs and watch trends among them in order to anticipate their future needs and be ready to assist them.

That’s why he came back to us to revamp his several year old site. Back then his business site had been able to handle both aspects of his operations, lawn care and pest control. Today, he’s providing enough information for each that we decided to split it into two separate sites. In response to customer trends, it also made sense to make both sites more mobile-friendly and enhance its search visibility for topics his customers are searching.

So if you need greener grass, healthier trees and bushes or just want to get rid of a few varmits, Tuff Turf Molebusters, is step #1 and #2.

Site Launch: Hyperion

November 2nd, 2012 by Ted Bailey

Hyperion EAFor Hyperion, Amazon has been a great ecommerce vehicle for their mobile device batteries and chargers, but they do have their fingers in the profit margin. So when they decide they wanted a store of their own, they came to us.

We were able to extract the data and images, put them into a CMS (content managed structure), made the site mobile-friendly, optimized it fore search engine, and integrated an ecommerce tool they could manage themselves.

Site Launch: Genie Matthews

September 24th, 2012 by Ted Bailey

Genie MatthewsGenie Matthews & Associates learned about IFI’s services through an organization, National Personnel Associates (also an IFI client), of which they are a member. We re-vamped the NPA website a while ago, so when Genie Matthews was ready for a re-vamp of their own, they contacted us.

We were able to refresh the look, put them into a CMS (content managed structure) so they could manage the site pages themselves, and make the site mobile- friendly and search engine optimized.

Site Launch: Vertex Integration

August 17th, 2012 by Ted Bailey

Vertex IntegrationWhen it comes to site design, “The devil’s in the details”.

To their credit, these owners knew that they needed a web site to go with their new business. Unfortunately, the ‘deal too good to pass up’ was and they ended up with a site that had little content AND some of the content it had, was for services they didn’t really provide. Shortly thereafter, the site host closed up without notice and what little web presence they had went dark.

That’s when Vertex called on the Imagination Factory to help out. We listened to what they did, learned about their customers and designed a site that helped market their business better. We made it mobile-friendly and worked on their SEO to get higher ranking in the search engines. We built a site that will now be able to grow along with their business.

Site re-Launch: Flamingo Plumbing & Backflow

June 22nd, 2012 by Ted Bailey

Flamingo PlumbingOriginally in a static site structure, Flamingo Plumbing, asked a local design service to get them into a more updated CMS (content managed) structure. Unfortunately, the resulting inexpensive site, although in a popular CMS, was designed such as to NOT be mobile compliant, deployed FLASH navigation on the main landing page, and one of the key components to the site, an online backflow order system, didn’t work.

Flamingo then came to the Imagination Factory to see what could be done. We were able to take and update the underlying CMS engine, re-design a new theme that eliminated the flash navigation and that was fully mobile-compliant. We re-coded the backflow order system to be both be fully functional and more user friendly and incorporated images from their recent direct mail campaign to reinforce their marketing efforts.
