Their core business is property management, mostly for owners who don’t want to deal with the daily drudgery. LeaseGR does it all—advertising, tenant screening, lease execution, 24-hour maintenance, accounting, inspections… every last detail.

And when they wanted to revamp their online story, make it mobile friendly, and enhance their online presence with a searchable inventory that was easy to manage, they called on the Imagination Factory.

Site Launch: Bos Greenhouse

May 27th, 2013 by Ted Bailey

Bos GreenhouseSome things haven’t changed throughout three generations of service. Today, Bos Greenhouse uses the latest planting techniques and the best agricultural science to produce superior seedlings and delectable vegetables. This enables them to deliver high quality products at fair market prices. Though farm practices have changed, their homespun philosophy hasn’t.

What also has changed is their logo AND the milestone of being awarded the ‘Centennial Farm’ designation.

To celebrate, the Imagination Factory was asked to give the site an entire overhaul. Similar to the advance in farming, Bos wanted the new site to be mobile responsive, easy for them to manage, flexible enough for them to add their farm reports, recipes, and other tips, and above all be visible in search engines so more people could see what Bos has to offer.

Site Launch: Great Deals Magazine

March 28th, 2013 by Ted Bailey

IFIblog_GDMOne of the downsides of direct mail is the cost per home to deliver it. Great Deals Magazine helps to mitigate that cost by offering co-op direct mail where all the advertisers share in the overall cost of the production and delivery. That said, Great Deals delivers to over 340,000 homes in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Battle Creek and that translates into a substantial postage bill.

So when the post office started offering incentives to utilize QR tags (those funny square barcodes) that drove the recipient to a mobile friendly website, Great Deals decided it was time revamp their site.

Working with the owner, the Imagination Factory re-designed the older static site into a more search and mobile friendly CMS (content managed) site. Each of the USPS promotion rules are quite specific, so we also needed to create a site structure and several QR tags to perform everything from a simple click to call to more involved mobile ecommerce functions.

Site Launch: West Michigan Glass Block

December 21st, 2012 by Ted Bailey

IFIblog_wmgb2West Michigan Glass Block (WMGB) is so much more than just a glass block supplier. Unfortunately, their old website didn’t really give that impresssion. In addition to glass blocks, by offering basement egress systems, replacement entry and storm doors and windows, blown-in insulation, repointing and foundation repair, siding and gutters and outdoor decks, WMGB is really your Home Improvement Station.

The Imagination Factory was selected to help WMGB re-focus their overall cyber story, enhance their ecommerce functions (while making it easier for them to manage), and provide them a vehicle to showcase their services and quality projects – all in a mobile compliant structure.

Site Launch: Tuff Turf Molebusters

December 2nd, 2012 by Ted Bailey

Tuff Turf MolebustersJim’s business, Tuff Turf Molebusters, has continually grown because of the great service he and his staff provide, and, in part, due to the great design partners he chose :) Jim takes a lot of time to listen to his customers, understand their needs and watch trends among them in order to anticipate their future needs and be ready to assist them.

That’s why he came back to us to revamp his several year old site. Back then his business site had been able to handle both aspects of his operations, lawn care and pest control. Today, he’s providing enough information for each that we decided to split it into two separate sites. In response to customer trends, it also made sense to make both sites more mobile-friendly and enhance its search visibility for topics his customers are searching.

So if you need greener grass, healthier trees and bushes or just want to get rid of a few varmits, Tuff Turf Molebusters, is step #1 and #2.

A website is a website

June 2nd, 2012 by Ted Bailey

Wow, really?  That takes me back to the 60’s when we also thought a horse was a horse.. unless, of course, that horse was the famous Mr. Ed.

I suppose that if all you’re looking for is a tax write-off and/or to get the marketing department to quit bellyaching about not having one, then perhaps a static website that looks like it is from the 90′s and drives little or no traffic and generates few, if any leads will do just fine for you. However, for the rest of you that are looking to invest in an asset that will not only build your brand, but gain you visibility, increase trust and ultimately generate more sales… then not all websites are created equal.
