Site Launch: Learn to Groom Dogs

January 21st, 2015 by Ted Bailey

IFIblog_L2GD_smMelissa Verplank, owner of numerous pet-related businesses including Paragon Pet Grooming, Whiskers Pet Spa & Resort and Whiskers University, had built a successful online video education program that was functional but had outstripped the underlying design and technology of their current partners.

The key people at Learn2groomdogs.com came to the Imagination Factory to see what was possible. We spent a lot of time investigating the old site, researching current technology, making educated guesses as to future tech, and especially discussing the shortfalls of the current site – for both the owners and the users.

The result is a subscription-based, members-only, ecommerce, mobile-responsive site with hundreds of streaming videos from multiple sources and by numerous training partners and grooming experts from around the world. The site allows members to search and view streaming categorized videos on their desktop, tablet or even smartphone. Members may subscribe monthly, quarterly or annually via several payment gateways to gain access to videos that are searchable by category, by training partner, by title, by technique, by tool, and by breed.

One of the more sophisticated orders by function and by security needs that we’ve been asked to design!

Site Launch: ITC Incorporated

January 19th, 2015 by Ted Bailey

IFIblog_ITCUS_smITC Incorporated is a dynamic, evolving company that has grown its LED capabilities with collections of lighting products for several industries including Marine, Cruise, RV, Healthcare, Retail, and Commercial Interiors.

This manufacturer came to the Imagination Factory seeking a web solution for its multiple companies. We designed a cohesive design for each and a plan to develop and launch multiple sites over the next several months. With sites for elio® and cruise® having launched earlier this year in time for various tradeshows, the third to launch is for the parent company itself.

The site provides much more information on each of their brands and will serve as a springboard to each brand site. All are tied together in the back by a common administrative structure making it easier to manage multiple sites.

Come visit the NEW ITC Inc. site, today.

Site Launch: National Personnel Associates

December 28th, 2014 by Ted Bailey

IFIblog_NPAWX_smLong-time client (since 2006), NPA WorldWide, sat across the conference table from us and said, “We help employers find unicorns and we need another more public site to tell that story… to employers and to the unicorns (that legendary perfect employee) they seek.”

The Imagination Factory had already helped them develop much of their web site support structure for their member recruiters, so where better to go but the folks that ‘build unicorns (those mythical perfect web sites)’? We upgraded the old site, put a common back-end administration structure for both and brought the new site design online.

Site Launch: Meyer Music

August 22nd, 2014 by Ted Bailey

IFIblog_MMI_smMeyer Music, after watching web designers come and go for several years, came to the Imagination Factory, back in 2005, to have their first web site built. Over the years there have been a variety of changes and enhancements to benefit their customers, but no major re-design…

Until today!

Meyer Music has revamped and enhanced its internal operations, so it made sense to also give the website an overall facelift and make it mobile responsive. The redesign would require also integrating the public facing web site to a secure portal where Meyer Music clients will not only rent musical instruments (as with the old site), but also access their accounts and pay online.

This latter portion of the project meant not only getting the various computers to play together nicely and securely, but to make the aesthetics match as closely as possible across different computers, operating systems, and applications.

Come visit the NEW Meyer Music site, today.

Site Launch: Century Hardware

August 15th, 2014 by Ted Bailey

IFIblog_CHDWR_smWith a tradeshow looming, Century Hardware, unhappy with the limitations of their existing site, came to the Imagination Factory for help. Their list of wants was extensive.

The site needed to be mobile responsive and retina display friendly; it needed to have integrated ecommerce with multi-level wholesale/retail pricing as well as the ability to accept POs and generate invoices and accept credit card payments online; it needed to be able to restrict quantities for select products and provide control over the online customers (who can buy wholesale, at what rate, who can use POs, etc).

The site needed to allow users to filter the products against numerous criteria (including finish, function, style, size, etc.) and it needed to allow the user to save their own wishlist of items for later use; it also was to include a ‘find a dealer’ function and a interactive flip-book (both also mobile friendly); and oh yeah… it eventually needs to be multi-lingual ready (with chinese and spanish targeted languages).

Quite a tall order, but you may visit Century’s new site and see it in action.

Sounds like what I want! Let's get to work.
