Genie Matthews & Associates learned about IFI’s services through an organization, National Personnel Associates (also an IFI client), of which they are a member. We re-vamped the NPA website a while ago, so when Genie Matthews was ready for a re-vamp of their own, they contacted us.
We were able to refresh the look, put them into a CMS (content managed structure) so they could manage the site pages themselves, and make the site mobile- friendly and search engine optimized.

To their credit, these owners knew that they needed a web site to go with their new business. Unfortunately, the ‘deal too good to pass up’ was and they ended up with a site that had little content AND some of the content it had, was for services they didn’t really provide. Shortly thereafter, the site host closed up without notice and what little web presence they had went dark.
That’s when Vertex called on the Imagination Factory to help out. We listened to what they did, learned about their customers and designed a site that helped market their business better. We made it mobile-friendly and worked on their SEO to get higher ranking in the search engines. We built a site that will now be able to grow along with their business.
Originally in a static site structure, Flamingo Plumbing, asked a local design service to get them into a more updated CMS (content managed) structure. Unfortunately, the resulting inexpensive site, although in a popular CMS, was designed such as to NOT be mobile compliant, deployed FLASH navigation on the main landing page, and one of the key components to the site, an online backflow order system, didn’t work.
Flamingo then came to the Imagination Factory to see what could be done. We were able to take and update the underlying CMS engine, re-design a new theme that eliminated the flash navigation and that was fully mobile-compliant. We re-coded the backflow order system to be both be fully functional and more user friendly and incorporated images from their recent direct mail campaign to reinforce their marketing efforts.

This Florida based holistic & natural health supplement provider approached IFI to build an easy to use e-commerce solution that would scale seamlessly with their growing list of manufacturers.
After a healthy, long life in a static website we built for them, the staff at Grandville Dental Health Center came back to IFI for a checkup. We were happy to deep clean their site content and design & fit them with a brand new CMS based, dynamic website that will allow their staff to maintain a blog and expanding service selection.

As many manufacturers, such as Paragon, are learning, their company website is becoming a more important part of the ISO 9000 audit & certification process. This clean, responsive design allows Paragon to expand information on their industry service areas as well as provide detailed information on their unique capabilities.
In the world of design and development, a small, agile team can often be an easily undervalued asset. A small, close-knit group can offer the ability to quickly respond to change in a way that large organizations lurch and fumble through, without unnecessary distortion added by chains of sales people, project managers, design leads, and so on.
I find that it keeps the daily routine interesting. While I get to wear a lot of hats (wireframing and planning, design, client tech support, ux design, front end development, client tech support, content tailoring, did I mention tech support already?), I also get the benefit of working with other talented professionals who both accent my own strengths and cover my weak points, without the overhead of a massive business behemoth to weigh down the process, or the uncertainty of freelancers and outsourcing. This allows us to provide a great set of services without having to bludgeon our clientele with large-agency sized bills. Clearly it has worked well, as we have been at it for quite some time now.
It was all sunshine and rainbows until we realized that we had all been so busy making great sites for our clients that our own site was running around barefoot… and for significantly longer than any of us would like to publicly admit.
As such, we have dedicated ourselves to actually giving this site a facelift. Preferably before the Mayan calendar runs out…
