IFIblog_MSI2_sm Matsch Systems, an IT and telemanagment company since the late 70’s, has expanded its focus to include VOIP, and SIP systems, wireless management, and customized IT billing software. They now have easy-to-install SaaS based services that work with most telecommunications and UC platforms.

To promote their new offerings, Matsch decided that their marketing for 2014 needed a complete overhaul. So, they came to the Imagination Factory for new marketing collateral, tradeshow exhibit materials AND a revamped, mobile responsive web site.

Branding: Zylstra Medical Supply

Zylstra Medical Supply was interested is updating its brand and increasing awareness in the marketplace. To help achieve his goals, Brian came to the Imagination Factory.

Family-owned and operated, Zylstra Medical Supply, Inc. is a full-service durable medical equipment company that still makes housecalls!

Before we ever put pencil to paper, we began by discussing his company and its unique niche in the marketplace. We then reviewed competitors and asked some more questions. With a better understanding of his services AND of his customers, we developed a new logo and this new tri-fold flyer in order to tell his unique story.

News: IFI is on the Move

Ionia Studio We’re excited to be on the move as of Friday, February 28th to the vibrant, historic Blodgett building downtown!

After 10 years out by the GR airport, another 20 years along the Grand River (last 10 at the Brassworks building), the Imagination Factory is expanding to two locations.

Our client center and NEW business address is 15 Ionia SW, Suite 220; Grand Rapids, MI 40503 and will be dedicated to project meetings and training.

Production will move to our new design studio on Grand River. Our web and mail servers will remain buried in the secure vault (with multiple bandwidth, power, A/C and security measures) where they have been since time immortal.

SOCS_2014 The snow’s not off the ground yet for many of us ‘northerners’, but all around the country the 2014 minor league baseball season is taking shape. And once again, the Imagination Factory is being asked to come out of the dugout.

A few years ago we began developing a web application called “SOCS” (suite online catering system). Designed to allow baseball fans who have rented a game day suite, also order online from their club’s catering menu. SOCS is customized for each participating club, it calculates subtotals, figures out the tax unique to each club and determines the service fee/tip if necessary, then sends the chef their order.

This year we’ve added a few more clubs to the IFI SOCS family. If your favourite ball club doesn’t offer it yet, have them contact us at the Imagination Factory.

Branding: Heaven at Home

Not your typical company brochure, but still services that you’ll be thankful to be aware of if/when you need it. Heaven at Home is an in-home hospice service that attends to companion animals in need of aid during end of life transition. They recognize how difficult of a time this is for both you and your pet. Heaven at Home aims to minimize pain and suffering both physically and emotionally for your pet and their loved ones.

Heaven at Home came to the Imagination Factory to help them begin to tell their story and how they might be of assistance to pet-owning families. We started with a new logo, then new business cards and finally this tri-fold flyer.

Site Launch: TreeOps 360

TreeOps 360 Just in time for the Huntin’ Time Expo in Grand Rapids, MI, these two inventors and StartGarden seed fund recipients were finally able to take the wraps off their website AND their innovative product for bow hunters and bird watchers.

TreeOps 360, by ArborCon, is simply the most unique and advantageous product to enter the outdoors market in years. The TreeOps 360 provides you the amazing ability to silently pivot 210 degrees around the tree and be able to rotate, while seated, to shoot the trees’ entire 360 degree perimeter.

To bring their story and product to light, they sought out the Imagination Factory. We delivered this mobile responsive, simple ecommerce site for the bow hunter to pre-order their revolutionary tree-stand.

Site Launch: CTMAX

Long-time client, CTMAX, has developed a split personality! Since we put up their original site in 1996, we’ve revamped their we presence several times, the last was in 2009/2010… BEFORE the onslaught of the mobile devices that have found their way into our pockets and purses.

Since Connecticut Maxillofacial Surgeons (aka CTMAX) started their practice (you’d think they wouldn’t still be ‘practicing’), they have continually improved and expanded their services and geographical reach. A few years back they launched a separate learning center to provide a place of continuing education for colleagues. Earlier this year, CTMAX, began to apply their expansive knowledge of facial aesthetics in the areas of non-surgical facial aesthetic enhancement… and the Facial Aesthetic Center for Enhancement (CTMAX FACE) was launched.

The problem was the primary practice was that of oral surgery and caters to a bit more toward the referring doctor and their patients; the learning center is really aimed at area doctors interested in increasing their industry knowledge; and FACE is more consumer-related.

The solution was NOT to try to make one site do it all, but to actually split the former site into three inter-related but separate sites… And, of course, make them mobile responsive and search optimized.
